The Psalter According to the Seventy
Psalm 46
For the End: A Psalm Concerning the Sons of Kore.
Clap your hands, all ye nations; shout unto God with a voice of rejoicing,
2
For the Lord Most High is terrible, a great King over all the earth.
3
He hath subdued peoples under us, and nations under our feet.
4
He hath chosen us for His inheritance, the beauty of Jacob, which He loved.
5
God is gone up in jubilation, the Lord with the voice of the trumpet.
6
O chant unto our God, chant ye; chant unto our King, chant ye.
7
For God is king of all the earth, O chant ye with understanding.
8
God is king over the nations, God sitteth upon His holy throne.
9
The princes of the peoples are gathered together with the God of Abraham; for God's mighty ones of the earth are greatly exalted.
